Is it Spring yet?--Katherine

We are so ready for Spring around our house! The kids keep asking when it will be time we can go to the park again. Spencer wakes up in the morning and if the sun is shining he will say, "see Mom I can wear my shorts it's summer outside." The kids took their bikes they got for Christmas outside for the first time today. Up until now, they have been riding them downstairs in our unfinished basement.
We went to the Dr. on Thursday and found that all is moving along well. Next time we go we will find out boy or girl.
We are excited to see Kyle this week, and to be together for Troy and Marissa's wedding.
We will see you all soon.

Done and Done

Well can you believe it, the jr. jazz season has finally come to a close. I know you've all be anxious for this to be a thing of the past, well today it is. It felt so great to leave work today at 1:30! Between work and church stuff, these last couple of weeks have been pretty busy, but i think we're on to a new era. In fact I'll be heading up mt. olympus in a couple of minutes to see if it's hiking season yet. These sunny skies are making me anxious for Spring. We won our church ball game on Thursday night and it was a fun game too, there are a lot of "ballers" in my ward, so that makes it even more fun. Well, I'm excited to see the whole family this weekend for Troy's big day. Love you all!

A little late, but still 100%-DAD

It is Thursday morning. I teach tonight, so I will go into work a little later-or maybe quite a bit later-we'll have to see. I do have to register my car and get a hair cut before I go in. Mom has been gone since a week ago last Tuesday. I miss her oh so much, but I am very grateful she was able to go and be with grandma and grandpa Marler for several days. Everybody's life is better when Mom is around. I think that is true of all Moms. I know it is true for Carson. I am grateful that Jodi is back. I had a sweet visit with their little family on Monday. I went and watched the Utes beat UNLV last night. I am looking forward to their game against BYU this Saturday at 3 PM. If any of you would like to come over and watch it, please feel free. I am looking forward to lots of things, but next Friday in the temple with all of our family together makes the rest pale in comparison. We had a wonderful couple (Dan and Barbara Workman) come to our Inservice at the Institute last week. They talked about the temple. I would like to share a few short quotes they shared with us in each of my blogs for the next few weeks. With all that goes into getting married it is easy to forget the most important of all the events, the covenants entered into in the House of the Lord. "You won't walk out of the doors and say, "Wow, I've been sanctified" but if your spirit has been teachable, you will be changed. You can receive the ordinances of the templde in a couple of hours, but you can't do sanctification in a couple of hours. That's why the Lord makes it possible for us to go again and again as we serve those who did not receive these ordinances in mortality." I love my family and look forward to being with you in the House of the Lord next Friday. May we all always be worthy to return.

A month of Traveling - Jodi

So it has been a busy few weeks for mama Jodi. Beginning at the end of January I went to So. California...actually right next door to Disneyland for a Trade Show. It turns out Alison and Chuck were there at the same time. To bad we didn't hook up for some good Mickey Mouse food.
After California I was home for a bit, then went to England for another Trade Show called Stiches. So I did similar things that I did in California, selling my product. But I did stop of in Liverpool to see all the Beatles beginnings. I just posted details on this on Carson's blog so check this out...www.lilholbrookfam.blogspot.com

From there I was home for about 24 hours then off to Canada. In Canada I taught classes and did more selling and demoing of our new product. In Canada my car was broken into and Marth our beloved GPS unit was stolen. Poor Martha. I made some good friends in Canada however and really enjoyed all the people I was traveling with. We had a fabulous time.

Now I'm home. I've been back at work the last few days, but today Bubba and I will just hang out. Well he is sleeping now, and I'm working/posting, but this is good. My last day of school is tonight, well at least for this class series. I pick up again in March and then I'm officially in the program!!!

So there's the word on the street. Love my family. Gpa glad to hear you are doing better. Gma I wish I was there to help squeeze those oranges. Maybe Carson and I will make a trip down there soon and help out if we can...

ibm & GMA

Fearest Friends of mine,

I'm two days late. I usually post on Mon. Mon was a very busy day. I took GPA to the Dr. He took the catheter out! He reported no Cancer. That means he doesn't have that hose that empties into a bag. Stuart called and wanted to bring Allison and the 3 kids over. We had to tell him to wait. They wouldn't know what to think of that bloody bag. (A terrible thing to talk about) Life is much better for him now. He's walking with a cane and not the walker. He hopes to exercise and get strength in his muscles. I don't have much hope for him getting on the golf course any time soon. Kyle, I'm sorry you're not coming to Phoenix. We could of saved you money on the Hotel. But keep it going at work. We use American Express. It pays literally to use it. They give us a cash bonus each year. They may do away with that. But one thing is we pay it completely off each month. Joel took a 3 day Cruise to Mexico. He had his hernia operation just 5-6 days after surgery. So I hope he's OK now. Linda is a councilor in the Stake R.S. Temperatures. We had two men die in our Branch Mon. & Tues. We hate to see them going two at a time. Got to close now. Today, I'm going to start squeezing oranges. We had them all picked and they are starting to spoil. We threw a lot of tangerines out and they are so good. Temperatures are cracy. Cool in the morning and up to a perfect 80 during the afternoon

Terrible news! (KP)

I have some terrible, horrible, no good, very bad news. Okay, it's not as bad as I've made it out to be, but it was a major bummer for me. Last time I posted I said that my work was sending me to Phoenix....... well, that is no longer the case. Because it would be cheaper to send us to a call center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, it's off to Florida we go. No more Phoenix :( I'm distraught.

Other than that it's been a pretty good week. It was nice having a day off on Monday. Emily and I went with Russ and Bonnie to a place called the Deleware Water Gap. We hiked up a "mountain" that was really a medium sized hill, but it was pretty cool.

I've been running just like my little sis cause I've gotta run a marathon in exactly a month from tomorrow! Yikes. I think I'll go 13 tomorrow. I sure don't enjoy running.

Well, that's all I have to report now except that the stock market is currently taking a nose dive and just hit its lowest point in 11 years and our company has fallen about 30% in the last week and around 80% in the past year or so. Anyway......
You all better get American Express cards and start spending like mad or I'll be out of a job. Okay, that was a joke. Awkward laugh....

Katherine

I really have nothing new to report, but am afraid to miss another week being that I am already 1 week behind. We hope Grandpa is doing better, and pray for him each day. Abby and Spencer had a blast at Grandma and Grandpa's Monday night building a snowman and being pulled on sleds. Spencer thought it was so cool to use baseball bats for the snowman's arms. What fun grandparents!
Last night I went to dinner with my roommates from college. It was so fun to see them and catch up on old times. The kids got to have a fun night with dad shoveling lots and lots of snow! Well, we will see you all soon.
Katherine

Dip Night!

I am on my way into work in a couple of minutes after 4 sweet days off. It has been a nice break. My boss decided to close down the Center on Saturday, so that meant no Jr. Jazz for me and the whole day off! So I went climbing with my roommate Kathryn and then to the Utah game instead. Sunday was a good one and I missed each of you except my parents at their home on Sunday night. I went for a 14 mile run on Monday and yes, have been feeling it ever since. It felt great though, but I'll be happy when the Boston marathon is done. After the run I went to lunch with Dean, then we did a little shopping, went to FHE and played some racquetball. It has been several weeks since I have gone undefeated in a racquetball match now...mmmm. Yesterday Kim and I went climbing all morning and I even cracked down and bought a punch pass to the climbing gym. Then we went shopping, and I think I found a lavender shirt for Troy's big day. I hope it works because I can't take it back. And this doesn't mean much to many of you, just some, I also talked Kim into opening a bank account at America First. Life will be so much easier now! Well we got home last night and made a whole bunch of dip. We invited a bunch of people over and had "dip night". It's fun to throw parties here because I invite people from my ward and kim invites people from her ward and new people meet...I like how it works out. Well, I've got to get to work now:-( I guess I've gotta earn a living. Have a delightful day/week. Grandpa, hang in there, you're in our prayers! love you all.

ibmom and gma

Dear best friends of mine,

Today has been a long day, but I thought I'd better post before I go to bed. Dad was up before
5 am. I convinced my self to go back to sleep. At 7 a.m., the surgeon called to ask obout his sore he has on his side. Dad had tried to call him
Thurs, and left word with his office girl. He asked dad a few questions, like did it hurt? Was he fevered? How did it look? It looked better this morning than it did 5 days ago. We've been getting a lot of pus out of it. There was always a lot of drainage. Dad told him he was operation prepared, no medicine, no food, etc. So the Dr. told him to come in as usual at 1:30. Then they had a cancellation and could take him at 12:30. To make a long story short. Everything is OK. Some one cleared the boil out and really made a hole and then padded it with gauze znd bandaged it way up. Dad will be so glad to have this over. They said he could come home tomorrow. Your sweet mom just called me and said she was flying in tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. Got to close early to get some sleep. I enjoyed all your blogs with pictures etc. Keep it up. Love ibmom and gma

Facebook for rp

Yes, I finally succumbed to peer pressure and have set up my own face book account. I have a couple of converts in Chile that have been trying to track me down and so I figured I ought to join the craze!!

Also, I wanted to let Grandpa know that he's in our prayers and thoughts as he recovers from his surgery. We sure love him and his favorite wife down south of here.

I just got signed up for a gym membership close to our house and I'm so excited to get exercising again. It is only $10 per month. Today was my first day back in the gym after about a year layoff. I'm sure I'll be sore in the morning, but it is worth it. I'm committed to make the time to get there often as I sure feel the difference when all that I've been doing is sitting around the office 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Well that's all for now. Thanks to Abby and Spencer's Grandpa and Grandma as they had quite the fun time going down the hill on sleds and making an excellent snow man this evening.

Good Times in Winter Wonderland (MOM)

I have loved all the time I have had with all ya'll (Troy Texas speak). Here are some events of the last few weeks. Not really in chronological order...more like random. Enjoy.

Kyle and Mom time..at Solitude. Blast. We went places that people with boards strapped to their feet had no business going, but I was the paid professional photographer, so I was obliged.

Brynley and her "kids" cross-country skiing at MountainDell golf course up Parley's canyon. She said, "prepare for a comical time". She was right. I laughed and laughed..these kids are so dog gone cute and they fall a LOT!

Marissa's shower- great families and wonderful support!

Jodi, Katherine and Brynley made it happen in the most

amazing way...all the fixins and more. THANKS!!!

Two little toads wearing "marked g'ma borrowed jammies. It's tradition!

Kyle's turn at the activity for FHE, Monday, Feb 2nd. We have such a fun time with our fam...round the world ping-pong and a crazy, wild game at the pool table only using two balls!

Selling Lemondade! 2cents

Uncle KYLE!!! We don't want to rough house. This is just torture!!

Our thoughts and prayers are out to G'pa Marler and Joel. G'pa MAY go into prostate surgery tomorrow, (Monday the 16th) although he has a sore on his hip that needs to be healed before they do the surgery so we'll see. And Joel is going in on Wed at LDS hospital for hernia surgery so this seems to be the in thing to do this week. I'll update all on the status as we have any news this week.

Love you deeper than Bear Lake with all this new snow! MOM

What dad won't do for $100 from Mom

Sunday afternoon and all is well. It is looking like we'll have a poor showing or dinner today. We have confirmed no's from 4 of 5 kids and Brynley is threatening to not show. It is a good thing I didn't make Jello today. Yesterday we had our 3 grandkids and their dads over to watch the Utes beat Air Force Academy. We also worked in a little Sleeping Beauty, some ping pong, some cookie decorating, a trip to the dollar store and I had a great snuggle with Carson. It was a first and it was wonderful! I hear rumors that there is a snow party at our home tomorrow afternoon. Hope you can all make it. Happy day after Valentines Day to the loves of my life.

Katherine

So, sorry if you get sick of me posting pictures every week, but I think it is fun to do. This week we had a couple of friends over to make Valentine cookies. So here are a few pictures.

Spencer loved to eat, more than decorate. He would say, "Mmmm this is tasty!"

So yesterday, we had a little scare where we thought I was miscarrying again. Same kind of signs as last time, but I had major pains happening where I could barely walk. I came home and called the Dr. and was told to come in as soon as possible. So Ryan and I headed to the Dr. preparing ourselves for the worst. He did an ultrasound and we saw the baby with a heartbeat still there! I can't even tell you what it was like to see that little heartbeat still beating. The explanation for it all. He said part of my placenta broke away and my uterus compensated for it by cramping down. (Sorry, this might be more information than some of you might care to know), but all and all we are still having a baby and as far as the Dr. is concerned he thought everything would be great.

Well, hope you all have a Happy Valentine's Day!

Love you all,
Katherine

Bryn's still working

Like Kyle I'm still very grateful to have a job. Times are getting hard, and it's good to have a good job. Work has been work lately. A lot of administrative stuff that I don't love to do, and disciplining both youth and employees and trying to solve their problems...it's so much fun, or something like that. We had our first fight tonight in a Jr. jazz game, well 15 seconds were left and sure enough it broke out and suddenly the crowd was on the floor. So I jumped up to separate people, fortunately there were my 3 gym supervisors right there, and they jumped in and helped too, so things didn't get too messy. But have I mentioned that there's only 2 weeks left, because there is. We only have a couple days left of our winter outdoor programs. They have also been a lot of fun this season, I wish I knew how to get the classes full.
Nuf of work-this morning I went to the temple with all 3 of my roommates. That's something I've never been able to do. It was neat to be there with them, and if any of your remember Brianne Hamilton, MTC/mission companion, she was working at the temple this morning and helped me through the veil. So that was kinda cool, and made me grateful to live where I do, with who I do...no offense Jess.
We had a fun night on Tuesday night with Marissa and family. Good shower, and Troy-enjoy the pancakes. We really do have a great family, and growing all of the time.
Things are going so well with Dean that I decided to let him beat me 2 out of 5 games of racquetball this week. I'd say that's a sign that I at least like the kid.
Well, mom, I'm sorry it has been hard for you to compete at your own contest, but it's great to have everyone back on the blog. I love to hear about my family. Have a good week!

I'm Going to ARIZONA!! (Kyle)

Gma and Gpa, HERE I COME!!

So I found out today that I'll be heading to Phoenix on April 27th to visit the service center there for a few days. I think they'll let me extend my stay so I can spend some good quality time with the best grandparents in the world! I'm SO excited!

In other news, my company announced that they won't be contributing to our retirement plans for the time being, Executive pay has been cut, and we're not hiring at all. So I guess there's been better news than that, but I'm happy to have a job!

Emily and I went to Jersey on Sunday to see our friends Bonnie and Russ. Russ was my roommate at BYU and he and Bonnie came to Lake Powell with Emily and me. They got married last month and moved out east to New Jersey. It was a lot of fun seeing them.

Last night I went and watched USA beat Mexico in a World Cup Qualifying match. USA won 2-0. It was a fun game and it was even better because I went with a Mexican buddy from work and a bunch of his Mexican buddies. It sure is fun being out here.

I love you all and miss you all too!

Wednesday Night Special from DAD

Just a note to keep myself in the running for that $100 prize, though it is hard to compete with announcements of a new grandchild. I just got home from watching the "U" beat San Diego State and find themselves in sole possesion of first place in the MWC! I only made it to the 2nd half because I had to make a quick trip to the Emergency Room to drop off a student who dislocated his shoulder playing Church basketball at the Institute. Things are going pretty well in my life. I love my job, my Sunday School calling and my family. Tomorrow we have four warranty guys coming to the house. They will repair a light, replace a broken tile, move the garbage disposal to the same side of the sink as the switch and give an estimate on finishing our fence. We will celebrate a full year in our new home this month. It has been a great year. We love having family and friends over. Happy Valentines to the loves of my live.

Magical Mystery Tour - Jodi

So Friday my boss comes to me and says...Do you want to go to England. Let me think about it yes. I want to go. I'm going about 1.5 hours away from Liverpool, so I found a train and I'm going to see the home of the Beatles. Where it all began. I'm talking to friends there and hopefully will be able to meet up with them. But if not, I'll be riding the Magical Mystery Tour bus alone and having a great time I am sure.
After that it is three days of tradeshow again. Wow I must love tradeshows.
I fly home on Wednesday and go straight to class that night.
Then Thusday I leave to Canada for a weekend of teaching classes.

Then I come home and hopefully stay for a while. I'm going to miss my little bubba. He does the cutest things every day. My favorite is when he wants to go downstairs he begins a backwards crawl even if its from across the room. So freaking cute!

Love you all family. Check out Carsons blog for the latest pics of him.

Inez Marler

Dearest Friends,

And you are our best friends. It's so good to read all your blogs. There are a few more. But Troy, where are you and Matt and Dale? This has been a good and a bad week. GPA went to the Dr. last Week and didn't pass the test. They poured 250cc of water in him and only got
125cc out. (I'm not quite sure of those amounts.) But he did say he passed only 50%. So he kept the Catheter in. I will take him tomorrow morning and hope he will be corrected with the medication. If not, they'll x-ray or scan. Jeff or our Home Teachers are going to give him a blessing tonight.

We had a wonderful Sacrament meeting yesterday. Dad hasn't been with me for over a year. I don't like to sit there alone. The gospel is true and organized so perfectly by Joseph Smith. I've been reading the D & C. I guess that's what they study in Sunday School. I miss not going to R.S. and S.S.

It's cool out there this morning. It rained a little last night, but it just reached 59 degrees by 1:15 this afternoon. The golfers are still out there.

Got to go. Love you all so much. ibmom & GMA

KP in the NYC

Well Bryn, my weeks start on Monday so depending on the referee, I still consider myself in the hunt. However, if i somehow come to be disqualified based on Utah weeks as opposed to NYC weeks, I will accept the judgement of the committee. It's great being back in the city. It's been nice having a little break from work this weekend. It was kind of a crazy week with work.

It was so good to see all of you on Monday! I had so much fun seeing you all and your kids as well. I can't believe how big Abby and Spencer are getting. I can't hardly take them flying these days. Well, Valentine's day is coming up this Saturday in case any of you have forgotten. I'll be looking for chocolate in the mail.

I love you all and I'm glad I got to see you this week! I'll see you in a month!

Brynley

Well, it's not the end of the week yet...So in one hour anyone who hasn't posted is down by at least one...right?
A great week for me! I went shopping on Monday and spent more money than I sould have, but it was nice to have a day off.
I have just 3 more saturdays of Jr.Jazz, and I won't lie when I say I'm ready for those 3 weeks to be done. I think we'll have a party just to celebrate. Speaking of celebrating, it will be fun to have Marissa's shower on Tuesday. Let the festivities begin.
Well life is good, hope to see you all soon!

Saturday Night--rp

Another week is in the books!! This past week was quite taxing for sure. Right now the amount of work to do is more than one financial advisor and one administrative assistant can do in an average work week. My new assistant Brenda is scheduled to work 25-30 hours a week and she's been doing 45-50 a week. If I added up my average work week over the past several months, it might depress me even more to know how many hours it would be!!

I should have a new guy working with me by March, which will be wonderful to pass on some of the workload. In addition to that, these financial markets continue to make life extra interesting around the office. It's quite sad when so many are forced to sell all of their investments in order to make ends meet. They know it's not a great time to sell at such a depressed level, but have no other choice.

So what do you think of my wonderful "blogging with pictures" wife? Sure enough, she's quite the blogger, which makes Abby think that she too is a blogger. Abby will ask other family and friends, "Do you want to see my blog?" We were quite thrilled that we were able to make the announcement through the blog system.

Although we've been through this pregnant drill before, I don't ever remember Kath being as sick as she's been for the past 10 weeks. My heart goes out to her, especially as she continues to do the many things she does without a word of complaint. Last night at the Gymnastics meet she went and did, although feeling awful from start to finish. Of course, the moments of her feeling well are isolated at best, with most of her day feeling much less than average.

Looking forward to a nice Sunday. With my calling being fairly light right now on Sunday, I've really enjoyed attending and learning at church. See most of you tomorrow.

rp

Fun times--Katherine

This was a fun week being able to see Kyle. Our kids always love going to Grandma and Grandpa's house and especially love when Uncle Kyle is home visiting. Loved the new pool game he taught us. We also had a fun time at the gymnastics meet last night. They are becoming more and more a Ute fan everyday.

Abby and Spencer love telling people we are going to have a new baby in our family about the time she starts Kindergarten. She also thinks it is a girl, because she wants to have more girls than boys in our family, she wants to put pink bows in her hair, and she thinks Emily is the perfect name. And then she will say, but a brother would be fun too. Spencer just likes to tell people that there is a baby growing in Mommy's tummy and her tummy is going to get really, really big. Gotta love the tactfulness. Well, I wish I had more to write, but I don't. So we will see you all soon! Love ya, Katherine

Learning is Fun - Jodi

Ok, so yes I get busy. Actually I don't remember when I have been so busy. But I love busy. I do. I really like my classes. They are hard work. I also never had to concentrate in class, but I guess this level of school takes a little more!
So here I go. I go to class and leave happy. And a little wired...I take two Dr. Peppers to keep me going till 10! The policy at the school is not to get out of class early...so we are really there till 10 each Wednesday night.
I gave a presentation last Wednesday night. It went well. My teachers said good things, one boy said he didn't want to follow me so I guess that is a good sign. Now I have one more presentation and a 10 page paper due next Wednesday.

Now as for Carson. That kid makes my day every day. Traveling to California last week made me miss his little guts. Every morning he gets up at about 8 and he gives mama a hug then wants his bottle to fall asleep for a few more hours.
Between 9:30 and 10 he starts talking from his crib. Jabbering and when I walk in he says Hi and starts to wave. Then gives his Mama more hugs. Really he just likes to pull my hair, but I call them mama hugs anyways.
He laughs so much and gets excited when we go anywhere. He does have a temper when he doesn't get his way. He just folds in half and screams. Sometimes I just laugh at him...is that rude? Right now we are watching Winnie the Pooh. Was Christopher Robin English when we were little?
Speaking of the British...I'm going to England next week! Wanna come? I'll be there from the 13th to the 18th. Then I go to Canada from the 19th to the 23rd. Anyone want to offer Babysitting services? Really.
Ok, I think bubba is done with the show...and I'm kind of glad...I'm a little sick of it myself!
Love my Fam...see you tonight at the Gymnastics meet.

Dear Favorite Bloggers,
So much to tell you since the last Blog. Such good news from Catherine and Abbey & Spencer (And Ryan). Catherine, I am proud of your pictures and movie with the kids dancing. I love it. Marissa and Troy, glad to hear your looking for a home. We got news that Chris Marler is married. Her name is Karen Seene Marler. I don't know their reason for keeping it secret. I feel bad that we didn't know. The reason for getting married is so she could get her green card. She's from Brazil.

they hope to go to her hom for a reception in August. She works at the Brazilian Rest. in Trolley Square, goes to night school, and works as a nanny. Chris is going to S.L. Community College and works for his dad. Zoel came down here to watch the Super Bowl. It's nice to have him here putting in light globes, picking up mail, making beef stew that we will have for supper. He took Dad to the Dr. this morning early 7:45. It saved me the trip. He has to go a week longer with the catheter in before we go back to the Doc. He doesn't say any thing about cancer. He did say there was no infection. I had a hard time with my breathing and yesterday as I was going to Church, I prayed for hekp to get in the chapel. I had to park quite aways from the chapel. As I got out of my car, my Home Teacher was also getting out of his. He walked right up to me and held my hand. I thanked Father for answering my prayer. Oh bytheway, Kyle, Joel tinted all the windows in that large AE building about 9 years ago and will do the cafeteria some time this year. Jeff started his new job this morning. I'm anxious to hear his hours and work days. He also installed a new Sony Dual VCR and DVD machine for us. It also records DVDs. Maybe we'll have Jeff and Linda over tonight for that stew and so he can visit with Joel. Got to quit now. I'm sending a card wirth a recipe % of Jill's house. Love you all. Haven't heard from Jodi for a long time. I guess school keeps her busy. ibmom and GMA

DAD's 4for4!

Another good week. It great to have Kyle in the house. He went to Church with us today and then looking at houses in Ogden with Troy and Marissa. I am excited to see what our soon-to-be-weds decide to do about their housing. They can pitch a tent in our back yard until it gets warm. I had a great time with Ryan and Abby and Spencer yesterday. We watched the Utes win by one point, rode a train and came back and played some serious ping pong. Those two are getting so goood. But the big thing is the great news that we get to be grandparents again. Now I can hardly wait until Abby starts school. I am not getting my expectations met with regard to my girls and their significant others. Maybe we'll have to meet for breakfast or lunch or something. My sympathy to the Cardinal fans. I think that Warner is one of the few athletes in the world deserving of our fanship. But on the other hand, who would have thunk that the Cardinals would be in a position to lose the Super Bowl this year. I love you all.

Back in Utah!! (KP)

Hey all,
I'm back in Utah! Thanks to Jodi and Ryan for coming to see me. Brynley and Troy.............. you're in big trouble! It's been fun being back. I'm working from the American Express Service Center out in West Valley. I had no idea how big that place was. There's a lot of people there. Well, work is going reasonably well. It's great to have a job in times like these. It's been pretty wild seeing what's been happening to our economy.

Mom and I went skiing yesterday and it was a blast. We went to Solitude and it was a blue sky day, just like Mom likes it. I think I'll attach a few photos. I'll be here until Thursday. If anyone wants to hang, I'm totally available. I think we're getting together tomorrow night which is great news.

Jodi, Carson and I went to dinner the other night. It was a barrel of fun! That Carson is one cute kid. I kind of got sick of everyone telling us how cute he was.

Emily and I went to a cool restaurant called Terrace in the Sky on Tuesday. It's on the top of one of the buildings at Columbia University and it had a view of the entire city. It was really cool.

Well, I think that's all for this week. I am also 3 for 3 so watch out all you bloggers! At this rate we'll each be getting 5 bucks. Looks like it's working Mom. Of course it hasn't motivated Troy to write. It's nice to see that someone in this family is motivated by something other than money.

Love you all!
