THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We love you more than all of the exclamation marks in the Title!

Upon returning to NYC from my trip to UT, I am humbled by the love, compassion, and willingness to serve of our wonderful family. I believe that we truly have the best family in the entire world! Thank you SOOOOOO much to each and every one of you for all you did to help us with our Fowler houses this last week. It was a truly herculean effort and one which we certainly couldn't have done without each and every one of you.

On the way home, Dad and I were talking about some of the tender mercies of the past week. I consider every minute that each of you spent helping us a tender mercy in our lives. Upon arriving last Friday, I was completely overwhelmed at the task ahead of me. I had one week to completely transform two houses. It was enough work that I would have never finished had I been there for 10 weeks. I simply didn't see how I was going to get everything done, or to even get close. Friday was a pretty rough night. Then Saturday came!

My wonderful family just started pouring in all over the place. I just sat there in awe as a family came together and worked like it was a day at the beach. Nobody complained, or acted like they didn't want to be there. While I knew it couldn't be further from the truth, you all made me feel like there was no other place you'd rather spend your Saturday than remodeling some old house in Ogden. Before I knew it, the wheels were in motion and my attitude did a 180 degree spin. Then along came Cliff with a sledge hammer, Craig with a truck, and Juan with a smile and a response of "como no" to everything I said (Mom, that means "why not"), I just can't believe how much we got done in such a short amount of time. I'm eternally indebted to all of you.

I'm so grateful to be a member of a family that cares so much about each and every member so much and that doesn't hesitate to help out at the drop of a hat. It didn't end Saturday, so many of you continued to come throughout the week and made amazing contributions that made the whole event possible. Everything from Katherine painting with Whitney on her hip, to Marissa cleaning disgusting fridges, to Jodi painting and cleaning in high heels, to Dad driving over an hour in the middle of the day to paint before going back to work, to Bryn and Dean sacrificing valuable hours when they have a huge project of their own, to Ryan coming back for more after coaching a soccer game, to Dave and Mike being the on site jacks of all trades, to Mom painting that midget room 20 times over, to Troy driving me to Craig's house at midnight when he had 6 am work the next morning. There were just too many sacrifices to name them all. I arrived home and could hardly explain to Emily how lucky we are to have such a wonderful family.

So for as little as this simple email can do to express my true feelings, THANK YOU! Thank you each and every one of you for all you did and for all you do. We love you more than all of the wood paneling ever installed in the history of the world!

We have the best family ever and we love you all!!

Love,

Kyle and Emily
