ibmom & gma

Dearest Family,

I can't believe it's been since June 8th, the last time I blogged. I loved pictures of Australia and if I recollect Jodi's been places since then. I hope you can keep it all up and take care of Carson too. Our prayers are with you. Nice pictures that Kathryn sent too. Yesterday, Allison brought her 3 kids over. They are into everything. But she makes them put things away. They opened up my breathing medicine, had fudgecicles and it was good to see Carson and Talon sharing (Most of the time). Last night Jeff came over and hung our Father's Day, Mother's Day and Birthday gift. We lost one of the bolts and I said a special prayer. When Jeff got over he climbed into the back area and looked down & found the bolt. I think he e-mailed a picture of the name plate to you. They put in a place that is just perfect and in the late afternoon there is a reflection on the garage door. Our friends Jack & JoAnne McLelland came down to see us. We had a wonderful meal at the CC and then they came over and visited for a while. We went to the door to say goodbye to them and and on the way back, I tripped on the carpet that is under the coffee table. I fell flat on my nose. That caused a nose burn from the carpet. My knees are bruised and I cut my lip. I felt weak and the nose burn made me stay home from Church. I hate that. All is well. I wrenched my right knee so I am very careful how far I walk. Jill had a busy trip to Boston and I was glad she was able to visit with Kyle & Emily. I'm so sorry we won't be able to be there for Brynley & Dean's Wedding but we'll certainly be thinking of them. My prayers are with you all. Love you all, ibmom and gma

Home

I'm home and safe. I did get a lot of your messages while I was away and felt loved! Thanks so much...I did have very limited access to technology including phone and e-mail so I didn't reply much, but thanks for caring enough to see how I was doing. Love you all.
It was a very busy (workwise) and had limited time to see the sites. I met a lady from my competitor Provo Craft who we hung with the whole time and she was fabulous and really loved Carson.
We went to a Zoo and got to feed and pet the Kangaroos. Carson even got close to them. He would put his hand out to feed them, but then when they got right up to it he would throw it at them. It was so cute.
We went to the famous Steve Irwin Zoo and saw all the Aussie animals. I worked a lot, three days in a row, three two hours classes back to back and set up and tear down. The company was a bit overbearing and wanted all our nights too for social gathering for them. I was a bit done with them by the end of it when they tried to schedule my last day the only full day I had for vacation on a hike that my son could not go on. Pretty much told them I'd be fine without their help on my one day to see the country.
Carson did ok on the flight there, and did not so great on the way back. I'm now in class and haven't really slept yet for about 24 hours...Thank goodness for DP. (Which I have lived without for 11 days as they do not export it to AU)
So I'll update more pics later, but here is an overview. Loves.

ibm0m or GMA

It was wonderful having all the kids down here and meeting Dean and hearing from Kyle that he and Emily are engaged and will be getting married in Aug., just a month after Bryn and Dean. I'll
bet they're busy in the Jill and Gary Poll house arranging for weddings and showers; even a baby shower for Katheryn. We are sorry we wont be there for weddings and showers.

Jeff had excitement at his place last night. Linda's still in Utah. They were all getting together to celebrate Jeff's Birthday. Stuart was sitting out in his car texting someone. This dude came up to the car with blood on his face and no shoes on. He urged Stuart to take him over to
Broadway and then to his girlfriend's house and then changed it to Ellsworth and Broadway. At this point Stuart could see that he didn't have a gun and told him to get out of the car. When Stuart got back to Jeff's house, (Jeff didn't even hear him leave). Jeff urged Stuart to call the police. Within minutes police cars and helicopters were there. They really checked Stuart's story out to make sure he wasn't involved. End of story. We will check from Jeff tonight to see what the real story was and if they cought him or not.

Last Friday on Jeff's Birthday, we had our Brimley Fam. Home Evening. Jeff went with me over to LeAnn's place. It was wonderful. Have I ever told you how great a family I have? Jeff told them what Linda was doing in S.L. They were all interested in it and want her to come to our next FHE in Aug. We will hold it at Jeff's place so Linda can use the computer and television. Luana was especially pleased cause she's been called as the Family history person in her ward.
She may get special training from Linda ahead of the rest of us.

Mark Brimley has had to move out of his house cause they foreclosed on him last Fri. I've talked to Mark and he can certainly use your prayers. I went to Fast Meeting yesterday. I'm always so glad for this. We are fortunate lo live in this last dispensation of time when the Prophet Joseph Smith has restored the Gospel. I know the Church is true. Love you more than the new members in the church as well as the old members and the dead ones. GMA & ibmom
