Dear Family,

I can't stand it when I write a blog and it doesn't print. This will be a shortened version. I enjoyed hearing your comments about Conference. The Church is true and we are so fortunate to be members of it. We enjoyed conference too and the way they voted on the new general authorities.

We were sorry to hear about Katherine's miscarriage and her grandma's death. We called Sat. to wish Spencer a Happy Birthday and he was off with one of his grandmas to the slides.

We had Jeff and family over last night so Jeff could receive a blessing for his upcoming surgery on Tues. the 15th, tomorrow. He's had a couple of whip lashes and it's damaged his neck and is in lots of pain. Chuck annointed and Stuart gave him the blessing. It was very good and you could tell he was being moved by the spirit. He'd appreciate your prayers.

Shaylee got transferred to a base in San Antonia where, she will get some dental assistant trainig. She'll be there till about Oct. Chris should be coming home in June.

We had a first yesterday. It got up to past 90 degrees. We hadn't turned our airconditioning on yet so it took dad about an hour to figure it out. I'm going to shut the door when I get through here. Love you all lots and lots. ibmom & gma
